The developers of this project wanted to create a unique, sustainable, boutique living experience at La Paz, B.C.S., México., next to the sea of Cortez.
We were inspired by the famous “Madre perla” (mother-of-pearl) oyster, which has been an important element of Mexican history, from the ancient fisherman that dove to collect them for the spaniards, to the Queen of England who wore them on her crown.
The whole branding conjured local history to connect the villas, streets, and communication under the region's identity alongisde relevant historical figures like Jaques Cousteau.
